Configure your first connection

Choose your connection

Following purchase, you are redirected to the Connection List page where you can have a quick look to all your connections, search by name/account number/label.

Click Manage on your newly created connection to access the configuration panel.

Newly created connections are inactive by default (Alert Procedure is disabled). To activate a connection, daily rules must be applied and at least one verified contact must be provided.

Remaining credits, with the option to top up at any time

Add at least one contact.

If no rules are configured for your account, you will need to create one first. More information : Create your first calling rule

New contacts must undergo a call verification procedure to confirm their availability for 24/7 alerts. Once verified, a contact can be reused indefinitely for this connection without repeating the verification process, unless they choose to opt out.

Name

A name, nickname, or any identifier to help you recognize this contact.

Phone

A valid European landline or mobile number (standard rates only)

Priority

Priority is automatically assigned upon creation, but can be updated at any time by reordering the contact list

Technical contact

Events configured as 'technical' in your rule are sent to this email address

Periodic Test

Enabling this feature notifies you if no events are recorded for this connection after three consecutive 8-hour failed checks (24 hours total)

Custom message

Replaces the default platform message with a custom one. Please note: This message remains static

Call Prefix

This feature allows you to replace the default CallOnAlarm introduction with a custom prefix. Essential for white-label use cases

Webhook

Using a Webhook allows you to receive a JSON object containing the complete procedure log once an alert ends. Guide : Webhook

All these fields are optional. However, we recommend providing a technical email address to receive alerts for events flagged as 'Technical' in your rule. Otherwise, these notifications will be sent to your main account email.
